Blockfall — Free Block Puzzle Game

The classic falling-block puzzle, free in your browser. Rotate and place pieces, clear lines, chain combos, and survive as the drop speed climbs — with a hold slot, next-piece preview and mobile touch controls.

How to Play

Pieces fall from the top of the well one at a time. Move and rotate each one so it slots into the stack, and complete a full horizontal row to clear it. Clearing lines on consecutive pieces builds a combo, and back-to-back four-line clears or emptying the well score extra. The stack must never reach the top.

On desktop, arrows move, Up or X rotates, Z rotates the other way, Down soft-drops, Space hard-drops, and C holds. On mobile, tap to rotate, swipe sideways to slide, flick down to hard-drop, and swipe up to hold. A short lock delay on landing still lets you slide or rotate. Every level raises the fall speed.

Tips & Strategy

Keep your stack flat and low — jagged towers create holes you can’t fill. Reserve one open column for the long straight piece and cash it in for multi-line clears. Chain those clears for combo points, and use Hold to bank a piece that doesn’t fit now. In the late levels, decide where each piece lands the moment it appears.
